Enduring Power of Attorney (financial and medical)

An “EPA” is a legally binding document which allows you to nominate someone to have the power to make decisions on your behalf.

An EPA (financial) document allows you to nominate someone as an agent to make any financial and legal decisions that can be made by you. This can be especially convenient when you are overseas and encounter some unexpected troubles. You can also place limits or conditions upon how your agent is to carry out their responsibilities.

An EPA (medical) document allows your nominated agent to make decisions about medical treatment on your behalf. Your agent can make any medical treatment decisions that you would make if you were competent. This includes decisions on such medical treatments as operations, surgical procedures, examinations or any preventative or rehabilitative care.

JPLegal offers a value package which includes preparation of your Will and Enduring Powers of Attorney documents for a discounted fee.

Our fee includes the option to store your original documentation in our secure deeds register and on our electronic e-filing system.
